Okta Single Sign-On: ARM Template Compliance Fix for SessionId Variable

What Changed

Added a SessionId variable and its _SessionId alias to the mainTemplate.json deployment template, replacing hardcoded “authenticationContext_externalSessionId_s” references with the parameterized variable.

Security Impact

This is a template compliance fix with no security implications. The change resolves an Azure Resource Manager Template Toolkit (ARM TTK) validation error by following Azure best practices for template parameterization. No changes to connector functionality, data ingestion, or detection logic were made.

The Okta Single Sign-On connector continues to operate unchanged — this affects only the ARM deployment template structure.
